Brewed on a V60 after a 6-day rest, this coffee opens with a distinct clarity and elegance. After grinding at 24 clicks, a soft, inviting aroma immediately fills the room. Smooth and nutty, it carries a subtle hint of cocoa that lingers pleasantly in the background.
The first sip is unmistakably citric, bright and lively, reminiscent of orange peel and a touch of lemon. There’s a crisp acidity that’s vibrant and expressive, balanced by a surprising note that leans toward pomegranate. It is subtle, juicy, and just complex enough to intrigue.
As it cools, the character becomes more apparent. There’s a rounded, bittersweet finish that lingers with a sense of depth that feels almost like sipping a light bourbon - layered, but never overwhelming.
All in all, this is a coffee that carries the signature of careful processing and thoughtful roasting. It is refined, articulate, and quietly confident. It rewards attention, but doesn’t demand it. Thank you for the sample and keep up the good work!
From several years ago when i first hesitantly purchased Viennese Roast Coffee from Fraction 9, I've been a fan. There is nothing out there in comparison. I'm so glad that you advertised and I found you. It's true love ❤️
Coffee has a good balance of flavor, body and strength and true to its name, works great as a morning coffee. Only one niggle, found it to be a tad over roasted for a medium.
Was a very nice coffee but it had many shells which if I'm paying for a premium coffee I hope it wouldn't be there as many.
Loved all the 3 blends. Thank you for extendting your love by providing samples.
I tried Winter Berries in Cold Brew grind and it was good, but I expected better as it was marketed as flagship. To be honest, I loved Crimson Port more. Maybe brewing with some other method would be better, I guess.
Never been a fan of light roasts but fraction 9 changed that and the definition of gourmet coffee for me. On time delivery and the tasting notes are exactly as described.
